We are delighted to announce the opening on Sunday, September 21 of a POP UP ART SHOP at Palazzo Grifoni, the flagship store of MAURO GRIFONI on via Santo Spirito 17 in Milan. The shop’s modular display structures, designed by Wien-based firm VANDASYE, will showcase a rotating selection of objects and products. The first installation includes works by American artist JOSH KOLBO; a temporary bookstore by New York publisher KARMA; a corner of T-shirts and limited editions by RICHARD PRINCE; ceramics by NATHALIE DU PASQUIER; and the debut jewelry collection of Korean designer JIWINAIA.

SEVERAL FLAMES KICKS OFF ON FEBRUARY 1-2 IN LOS ANGELES WITH THE TWO-PERSON EXHIBITION “POWER BALLADS” AT PARAMOUNT RANCH ART FAIR IN MALIBU. PRESENTED IN COLLABORATION WITH GALLERIES FEDERICO VAVASSORI, MILAN, AND NANZUKA, TOKYO, THE SHOW FEATURES THE WORK OF LEGENDARY JAPANESE ILLUSTRATOR HAJIME SORAJAMA AND YOUNG AMERICAN ARTIST MAX H. SCHNEIDER.

Several Flames has been invited to take over “Art Residency,”
a three-part curatorial series in Dazed & Confused magazine.
Each issue showcased a combination of an emerging artist and a rediscovered maverick sharing a visionary attitude: Jana Euler and Matthew Schlanger in the December issue; Zach Harris and Mati Klarwein in the January issue; and finally Sascha Braunig and Christina Ramberg in the February issue, currently on newsstands
